Columbus state financial aid9/22/2023 ![]() The accreditation period extends for five years, and includes all programs offered or created during that time. ![]() IACET Authorized Providers are the only organizations approved to offer IACET Continuing Education Units (CEUs). The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) has awarded Columbus State University’s Department of Continuing & Professional Education the prestigious Authorized Provider accreditation. One CEU (1.0) may be awarded for each ten hours of participation in an approved program. The Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is a nationally recognized measurement of non-credit course work. Please allow 7 to 10 business days for refunds to be processed back to your card or 10 to 15 days for check refunds. If you cannot attend the course due to these changes, you will receive a credit voucher, which is valid for 18 months from the date of issue. In the event of class cancellation or changes of times and dates, we will attempt to notify you at least 2 business days before the course begins. No refunds can be given the day of or after a class begins. On the fourth (4th) business day, a voucher will be automatically applied to your account. Please respond within three (3) business days or call 70 to request a voucher or full refund. If your camp or class is canceled, you will receive a separate cancellation email. Course credit vouchers are valid for 18 months. Camp withdrawals on or after camp start date are not eligible for a refund, only a course credit voucher for the full amount. If you withdraw between Tuesday and Friday prior to camp start date, you will receive a 50% refund per camp. For Activ8 camps, withdrawals must be requested before 5pm on the Monday prior to the start of the camp to get a full refund, minus a $20 processing fee per camp. Course withdrawals on or after course start date are not eligible for a refund, only a course credit voucher for the full amount. If you withdraw less than three (3) business days prior to your class start date, your purchase is eligible for a 50% refund back to your original form of payment, or a course credit voucher for the full amount of the class. For example, if your class begins on a Tuesday, you must call or email Thursday in order to receive a full refund, minus the processing fee. ![]() If you are not able to attend this class, please request a withdrawal at least three (3) business days before the class start date to receive either a course credit voucher equal to the full purchase price, or a refund minus a $20 processing fee to the original form of payment. As Continuing & Professional Education is a self-supporting department of Columbus State University, we rely on student registration fees to cover operational costs.
